Abusing Report Function
I'm sure we have all seen the abusive treatment of the report function; people every day are being reported for legitimate offers. These clutter the admins availability and are just senseless jackass acts. I have reported those who have been abusing the report function but I don’t know if that even helps. Any suggestions on how we might remove this problem?

Pretty much a warning light IMO is when it says in the OP "I will report you if you don't pay in metal/offer lower than spreadsheet/eat your vegatables." I've seen a few trades where people set their own rules and then start reporting when people (surprise) didn't go by them.

Obviously, the way to get rid of this is to have a penalty for fake reports. Then people might be afraid to report though, and I'm not sure if banning someone is deserved just because they're not tolerent of low bids.

Agreed what a sagacious way to improve the site. Now only if we can implement this... :(
Btw I am applying for moderator to solve problems like this and eliminate problems caused on outpost.

Admins ban people more per day for misreporting then actual reportable stuff. nuff said.

I agree, it should definitely be in the rules. Sending in fake reports is just as bad as breaking them.
