Backpack search feature & Quality items
First off, Lets say you are viewing yours someone else's backpack and looking for lets say the Escape plan
So than without needing to scroll down you could just type in the item you are looking for in a Search bar
Second, Quality item offers, You know at the bottom of the page where they have: Money, Craft hats & Normal weapon? Well why don't you poot down: Strange weapons, Unusual hats, Vintage Items *& Genuine items, It would also be easier to just click one of those than just clicking 8 of your quality items you have and saying witch items you have instead of both

Both of the items you have suggested are already possible.
When viewing a person's BP, in the top right hand corner, is a space that says "Search Backpack", click on that and type in the name of the item you are looking for.

As for the second suggestion, people vary rarely search for people offering a general term, but if you want to put "Strange" weapons into your wishlist, scroll down, select weapons, press the drop down menu and select strange.

Oh, that would be entirely unnecessary, you can already select weapon, and change quality to strange, genuine, etc.

And yes you can search for certain item's in someone's backpack. Open their backpack (you know, the little symbol on their profile) go up to the top of the page, and on the right is that "Search Backpack" thing I told you about. As I type this, I am searching your backpack for various items using it.

I ment on the damn website!
And you can't select the quality you want to on Craft hats or Weapons for your offers. Reading! You should do it some time

You never mentioned the website in your post, and I read it perfectly.
TF2OP is served by TF2B, which is a separate site, that's why you have to open the little backpack icon, since the BPs are obtained off a different site. It literally only takes 5 seconds to click on the backpack icon, hardly a lot of time, compared to the strains the admins would have to go through to implement their own backpack examiner.

I'm done with you, you aren't listening to reason at all.

That is not true. TF2OP has its own Backpack viewer, you get the TF2B page because that's what you chose from the options menu. OP's suggestion is valid and I agree with him, a search feature wouldn't be hard to implement and would be quite useful. (Though it's the wrong place to post this).

I don't see how that helps at all though, there already is a search feature on the TF2B (A.K.A. default) bp viewer. It would be completely unnecessary, adding something that is already there.

Now I think you're just arguing for the sake of arguing. No the feature is not there, it is on a third party website that is completely optional to use. I and many others don't use this website because it's slow and unnecessary. Mind you it's turned off by default.

I mean why even have a search feature at all when Google does the job just as well. Please...

Err, I think I am talking about the same website as you? TF2OP... the TF2B section is incorporated into the site itself, TF2B and TF2OP are separate sites, but when using TF2B as a BP viewer on TF2OP, you are still in the TF2OP domain, check your url bar if you don't believe me.
I never recall using the TF2OP Bp viewer, and I can't see why anyone would want to, it lacks the quality filters and search options of the TF2B one.
Still, to each his own I guess.

Nothing is being accomplished here, I'm going to leave you to your own devices. You have your own opinion and I respect that. I believe that what you have suggested is frivolous and unnecessary, and nothing you say will be able to change my opinion about that.

Let's leave it at that.
