What about having a massive 2-3 page (scroll wise), identical description advertising EVERYTHING you are selling?

I think he means a big list of items that you are selling which I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed.

No advertising refers to third party websites and anything that isn't related to TF2Outpost.

I think it is more of spam. They are advertising their trade in their other trades.

Example: I search for people selling keys. Someone who is selling keys puts ALSO SELLING STUPID THING YOU HAVE NO INTEREST IN!@!!

If they are selling keys in that trade and you searched for keys then there is nothing wrong with that. You are not obligated to be interested in anything else.

IF they are advertising keys and then saying "selling JUNK A for COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ITEM" and there are no keys at all then that is a misleading trade and can be reported. I had a long chat with a mod on this and they got back to me after discussions between the other mods so take it as a probably accurate statement I just made.

On a side note where this can be useful:
When I was moving less volume I created trades by "class" and had links saying " If you want to see my "<alternate class name>" trades, visit this trade.
It really helped me generate more sales. Most effective was when I had class hats advertising stranges for the same class. MOST found it useful. Now that i remove and redo my trades every other day or so cuz they fill up so fast with spam I stopped doing it.
