Are multiple same function trades counted as relisting?
Just a quick question, I see many trades scrapbanking where the user has 10 scrap banking trades but each one is looking for a separate set of 8 weapons, or trades selling weapons for 1 scrap where they have a list of everything they are selling on each trade.
Is this counted as relisting?

That is considered relisting, the point to scrapbanking is not asking for specific weapons so multiple different wishlists is redundant. And the second trade could be considered it as well if they all serve the same function and could be cleared up by making a "also selling" list in the notes. To have multiple trades for just weapons, they typically have to serve different purposes or have wildly different values (one trade for selling cheap droppable weapons and another for genuine/strange/obscure glitch weapons).
I would count the first one (scrapbanking) as relisting, one trade is enought for buyers to find you, but I wouldn't do that on the second one, because if he can not relist the weapons he is selling he can not use the matches system to find buyers, but I might be wrong

I would agree. The reason for making multiple weapon/strange weapon/hat trades is so that people using the match system or the search system can find you. Without more than 8 items per trade people can only find the trade with a search for the 8 items you are selling so I might be selling a strange RL but it is not one of the 8 items on the one strange trade I have so I have to make multiple trades so people can find the weapons they are looking for.
The Once, you are incorrect.

If your trade contains items A, B, C, and D, if someone searches for ANY combination that includes at least one of those, it will come up in the results.

Someone does not have to search A + B + C + D to find your trade, just A or B or C or D

Do you read??? I am talking about the items listed that I would be selling but are not included in the trade so would not show up in searches. I recommend learning English.

I think instead of insulting Watson, you should just elaborate to him, which I will do for you:

If I have 16 weapons to sell and I can only post 8 per posting, I will open 2 seperate trades, each trade will list 8 and then 8 totally different items all with a bounty of 1 scrap each (if the case may be). I would not have the same weapon in both trades as it is redundant and will only create an offence of the rules.

IF however I have 2 strange rocket launchers and one I am selling as a regular one off and the other I am selling in a set only format then it is not a double listing and is not a violation of the rules.

I aslo know what the damn rules are. I was pointing out why having multiple same function trades are acceptable and answering the question of the original poster rather than attempting to criticize people. Apparently I am on the discussion for the wrong reason, I didn't realize the point was to criticize other peoples comments for things that are unrelated.
