I need some help!
When I want to make a trade it says my inventory is private. I just set it to public and logged out and logged back in. It still says it is private.

Profile as well as inventory have to be set to PUBLIC

I always found this rule weird. You require a public profile in order to create trades on TF2OP which is understandable, outside of that it shouldn't be anyone's business if I choose to have a private profile/inventory or not.

Maybe I don't like to show off my inventory because I get 10 friend requests from beggars each day, maybe I just don't like to let people know what items I have. Whatever the reason ultimately that should be my decision and not anyone else's.

By not having a public profile, you can't make trades... So why would one need to keep their profile public if they aren't making any trades anymore?
