Strange parts on stranges question
I was wondering if I'd get hit with reposting if I were to put two of the same item up BUT the items have different parts.

For example, I have a sniper w/ headshot kills, solly kills, and dom. kills and a sniper with no parts. Would I get hit for reposting if I decided to put one sniper in one trade and the other in another?

I severely doubt it. That's like being banned from posting a white bills and a black bills.
But, the best course of action is to list them both in the same trade. That way, it couldn't possibly be considered relisting.

It's quicker to type, and many people use it. Whether you like it or not, the community does, or at least certain members of it do. Scoot, solly, demo, hoovy, snoipah, it's all down to preference.

i dont think snoipah is faster to type

Just more fun.
And Champ, I guess it would be but I was asking because strange parts don't show up on the OP whereas paints do.

Actually most of these are not faster to type: Scoot vs Scout (same # of letters), Solly vs Soldier (2 letters shorter, oh my god your saving a lot of time, unless of course you type at a speed beyond that of a monkey), Hoovy vs Heavy (same# of letters), Snoipah vs Sniper (1 letter longer).

So the only reason to not use the actually names is pure stupidity.

Hardly stupidity, its a game. TF2 isn't meant to be realistic, if you want realism, go play a game that doesn't involve becoming invincible via a mysterious gas out of a fire hose, hitting people with fish, or making rockets reverse direction by hitting them with a blast of air.

The fact is that people use these terms, whether you like it or not, people use them.

Realism and stupidity are two different things. I know it is not realistic fuckhead.

The fact is it's not even the game, it's the trading community. I've been playing TF2 since the game was released, but never new what a Solly was until about a year ago. When I first decided to start trading people made no sense because they would use terms like FoN or Solly or DR instead of actually just using the real word.

I can see solly for soldier, okay yes it is slightly shorter and if you type worse than my dog it might save you time. As far as hoovy, scoot, or snoipah go there is no sense to it so yes stupidity would be the best way to describe it.

Distinctive lack of a Grizzled Veteran or Primeval Warrior. Nice Soldier of Fortune though.

But on the actual topic of this thread. No, I don't think you will be banned for listing two completely different weapons. Providing that you don't use 2 trades for what could be accomplished in one, I think you're completely safe.

Hoovy. Same amount of words, less keyboard movement, as with scoot. Solly is a shortener and as is demo.
Main reason I'm asking is because I have one trade I don't wanna close (Few books and a lot of views) just to throw the same thing in a different trade.
