What is the most reliable Pricecheck Source
We all know the base prices
1-2 weps =1 scrap
3 scrap = 1 rec
3 rec = 1 ref
etc.

But what do you think is the best pricecheck source for the items that are a bit higher than pure or craft hats? (ex. cosmetics, taunts, unusuals...)

The best source? Yourself, personal experience. Until you get to that point, Backpack.tf is a good point to start, their prices are "fairly" accurate, but can be quite a bit out in places.

There are no fixed prices for items, however.

Thank you for the input. I think the tf2 community may be better off without a Pricecheck source, you see so many people talking about how the spreadsheet is almighty and without error because it has become just that. Since people have known about the spreadsheet scandal, they have stopped using it, but there are just as many stubborn people on the other side to say that is and should be the number one source. I'm not saying that craft hats should go for unusuals or that genuines should be insanely valuable because of the fact that they are rare, I'm just saying that pricechecks should be more around the opinion of the community.

If you're after unusual pricing tf2pricecheck.net is a good source of values (I've seen flies sniper unusuals listed as 1bud on backpack.tf >.>)

Here is Tf2pricecheck saying a flies sniper unusual is worth 2-3 buds[www.tf2pricecheck.net]

2-3 buds is not 1 bud. The point you're trying to make is?

I'm assuming the point you were trying to make is that backpack.tf was a bad site because it listed a flies sniper hat as worth 1 bud, which I assumed you thought was overpriced. That's why I linked you to Tf2pc saying a flies unusual was worth 3 buds.

Regardless, the Larrikan is a fantastic hat, and the price is justified. Just because something has flies doesn't mean it's worthless.

I was quoting tf2backpack as a bad site to price unusuals as they list prices way below their actual worth D: Flies on a sniper hat is considered a high-god tier effect for sniper unusuals

It does seem to be a monopoly set up with only about four people PC'ing at all times, almost like there is one person with four alts.
