Regarding inflation teams
We've all seen these, one person or a group of people dedicated to inflating items. Although this seems like a good idea, it can be dangerous.
I'm sure that you're all familiar with the 'What's in the Portal 2 Soundtrack Box" Gained from buying the new Portal album via Amazon.com. Earlier this very week, a group has emerged telling sellers to vamp up their prices to 6-7 buds. Just to show you that I am not someone who wants one, check my backpack, I am a proud owner of one of these little guys and damn proud of it. I just can't stand to see people trying to manipulate it like this, it isn't fair!
Why I am concerned; This will hurt the trading economy, more people will buy the soundtrack, and it will actually inflate insanely because of lack of supply. Now I am not concerned about my personal well-being because I know that even if I can't resell this for a good price, I can just get more items via cash/game trades, I am concerned about the fact that this group has quadrupled in size, as more people join, more people will try to sell these for 6 buds and when that starts to happen, no one will buy them, and when no one wants to buy them, they become valueless. In this regard, I am concerned with my personal economy but more so with the entire trading economy.

People at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/soundtrackboxhoarders Please take your group down; not just for me or the people who agree with me, but for the entire economy. Thank you.

I've seen hundreds of these groups, and they almost all fail to attain their goals. I say just let them fail.

The fact that you don't know about the effects should say a lot about it.

I'm not THE most experienced trader out there, things like this just seem dirty. And yeah, you're right.

I've noticed that. Thanks!
