Any tips for a new DOTA trader?
I am a semi-experienced TF2 trader with absolutely no Dota knowledge at all, I plan to start playing Dota because I have played the Starcraft version of the game along with LoL and enjoyed those. Of course; if I'm playing the game; I'll want to trade. I don't want a pricelist or anything, just some tips for someone new to the game.

I've played a single game of LoL and I heard Dota was fun. I am reporting your post because it was not constructive.

Don't forget that the report system is only for spam (as in just lines of garbage text), advertising and rude or harassing posts, which his post was none of.

Remember that abuse of the report system may result in infractions. Also, it may be interesting to note that a comment which only says "I'm reporting you for not being constructive", is not actually constructive in itself.

Could you please stop acting like a moderator, you are not one. Most of your posts are unconstructive, you just call out people for breaking the rules without even mentioning what rule or what they've done wrong. Gotta ask yourself, have you even read the rules? </offtopic>

As with anything, experience is earned by getting your hands dirty. Since trading in Dota is rather new, I don't think there are any guides to help a newbie trader out there. Best you can do is join a trading channel and see what others have/want or look for trades on outpost and learn what certain items sell for so you can get a general idea of items and their value.

well weapons will sell for about 2 scrap to 1 rec each and be careful which items you trade because some are rare and worth around 1 key to a lot of keys well not to sure lol
