Pretty much everyone know that the ones with a green, orange or blue name have their trades on autobump so I don't relly think that it is nessisary

Not all trades for those people have autobump on though. Yes, 90% of the asshats leave autobump on all the time but some of us turn it off when we are away for long periods of time.

I think that's the point of autobump, to leave it on for long periods of time so your trades get more exposure while you are away. Of course it's common courtesy to leave a note saying you won't be back for a while.

I think that's the point of autobump, to leave it on for long periods of time so your trades get more exposure while you are away. Of course it's common courtesy to leave a note saying you won't be back for a while.

Actually I use it mainly for unusual or long term trades. For hats/stranges/tools I only Autobump when I am available, if I am out of town for work I turn it off so that people aren't adding me and then are too stupid to remember why two days later when I get home and accept.

Either way the point is so that I don't have to go on every X hrs to bump every one my trades individually but rather they will all automatically bump regularly while I am playing the game so I don't have to worry about it. To mainly use it for weeks long trades wouldn't make as much sense as those are the trades where bumping is less important.

Honestly a signature isn't such a bad idea and it wouldn't be too hard to add. It should be limited though to x characters or 4-5 lines and it could look something like this:

Except this is not at all what this thread is about, but rather a signature that automatically show up and would say weather that specific trade is on auto-bump or not.

Whatever you use the signature for is up to you, you can easily edit it to tell people your trades are on autobump or you're away for a week or that your cat just died.

Right, but the OP was suggesting something that automatically stated wheather Autobump is on or not. Which would be nice, that way you don't have to manually do it on all the trades everytime you trade them. You could easily just edit your trades to put that signature that you want in all of the notes too.

Yes you could but then you would have to deal with the same issue that the OP posted about, you'd have to edit each and every trade which is tiresome. This is more of a general issue, it's not just about autobumping.

I agree there should be some sort of visual indication whether a trade is autobumped or not that can be seen by any user, some text or a little icon in the title of the trade not necesserily a "trade signature". By the way I have already suggested this on the day the new autobump was implemented.

Great idea, It might help me since I'm using same format to all my trades.
