There is an even better way to solve this problem: remove have-lists, remove whish-lists, problem solved.

You could also take a look at the steam community market, because there you can find hard facts while a lot on these mentioned websites is whishful thinking (flame on, lol :P).

Both cases are not relists its simply making a new trade. Relisting is if you put the same item into multiple trades at the same time.

Take as example you want to swap a craft with another craft hat and you want to specify more than 8 hats you would accept you could make another trade with the same craft hat on the left and put another 8 hats on the right side.

Technically thats a relist but it is all a matter of relation. I wouldnt call this example a relist, however if you make 10 of these trades it pretty sure is one.

Maybe they should shutdown bp.tf instead, then no one knows what stuff costs and everyone can continue the ball low / ball high game ...

Since two days now i cannot post any trade because outpost can't load my tf2 backpack. The strange thing is, other sites like tf2b or backpack.tf can browse my backpack!

If i want to read/search through a wall of text and use sophisticated data mining techniques to process all improperly formatted notes i would trade on <insert random website trading community here>. The great advantage of outpost is thats its clear and easy to use and these type of trades are really annoying.

Unusuals are are complete other type of trade (like your crate trades), the market is MUCH smaller, the time to sell something much longer, and tbh, because of the immense value differencies imho 8 slots are not enough to properly post such a trade here, so don't compare unusuals with your everyday trading experience. It's like comlaining about e.g. if someone who sells cars says "this car costs a starting price of 15000$" but depending on a long list of extras the resulting price is much higher with buying a piece of butter with a starting price of 0.50$ and in the footnotes you can read what it really costs because of whatever, extra storage costs.

Well, and to get rid of most these lowballing/highballing i think there is an easy solution: ban all resellers. Seriously, what has happened to outpost. Just check the trade history of any of these lowballing/highballing trades and you will see these guys are just buying the very same items at a below market price to resell them again for above market price, it fells like 80% of the trades i see are of this type. I'm doing trading for a long time and these guys really piss me off, especially if they come to my trade where im already selling for a little below average price and ask for even less to just rip off even more profit.

And i didnt even mention all these unusual trades that start with "i just got this..." and their b/o is 1.5 times of the price they just paid 5 minutes ago for it. But well, this is offtopic for this thread :).

Have you ever tried to sell your craft hats for 1.3 ref? Wasn't it really annoying to browse through 50+ trades to sort out all the lowball idiots who put 1.3 ref on the have side but say in notes they only buy for 1 ref? Have you ever tried to buy a key for a decent price like 3.6 ref and wasn't you annoyed by 150+ resell faggots putting up trades with 3.6 ref on the want side and writing in notes they want 3.7 - 3.8 ref? This is what this rule was made for and i happily report any of theses trades that i encounter that violates that. Rest assured i will spare all your trade crates, unless you put a salvaged one on the have side and only scraps on the want side and say in notes you sell this for ovah 9000 scrap.

Hmm, getting offered an unusual for 50% less is wrong? 80% of the trades buy these for 50% less...
