Stop mentioning how much you donated, you shouldn't be raised above the rules of the site, or get special treatment, no matter how much you have donated to it.

Raised above the rules? I used the site for months prior to going on leave, I never recall seeing anything anywhere about losing my entire account (and my donation along with it) for turning on a privacy setting. Even as I look at the site as a guest I still can't see any rules along those lines. I was a good member, and followed the rules, yet I get >permanently< banned for a first time offense that I didn't even know about, all while I'm on leave and trying to avoid getting targetted for hacks.

My donation was to come with essentially lifetime benefits, I expected to use the site again down the road for trading purposes, most recently as I came back for the Steam TCG and Dota 2 player TCG game. So imagine my surprise when I see I'm permanently banned without any warning, any communication, etc.

Again, when I left for leave, I had no active trades, I was not logging into the site, there was nothing related to my Steam account and my website account because I was gone. I could see being unable to trade or even make offers with a private inventory, but a straight up permanent ban is crazy.

When you're banned, it directs you to your appeal page. Set your backpack to public, say "Hey sorry I was on extended leave and set my backpack to private, please unban me".

No, it does not direct me to an appeals page. It says I am permanently banned, and it will not allow me to navigate the site at all. I never saw anything in the rules when I donated that said my inventory couldn't be set to private, especially when I was not actively trading. As I mentioned I was away on extended leave.

I am seriously shocked, I'm someone that actually paid for the highest level of membership on your site. I went away, set my inventory to private, come back only to find that I'm permamently banned for having a private inventory. I chose to protect my inventory so that scammers wouldn't target me while I was gone on extended leave, why am I not able to do this? I did not have any active trades going, it makes no sense.

I am seriously upset that this is even allowed, especially after someone gives you guys money. The ban was by J-O-N :D, I have no clue when the ban happened as I've been gone for months. It says "This player's profile or inventory is set to private ('friends only' is not sufficient. it has to be 'public').

Can someone explain to me why this was allowed, especially if you guys aren't going to refund the money I sent? Had I know I could get permanently banned over a privacy setting I would have never paid money out to support you guys. Please tell me that this was a huge mistake...
