It's spam protection as you said, and yes, going around offering on every trade within the space of a couple minutes is spamming, using a trade offer is just as effective, you really don't have to comment on peoples trades to give them an offer.

I have come to the point where I need to close or merge trades together simply to list everything available for sale in my inventory, it's a bit of a hassle really, is there any chance to implement a larger amount of trades for premium users?

Thought I was the only one for a second there, glad to see that isn't the case.

Really no point in discussing it any further, cause you obviously don't at all get the main concern here, as stated in my original post, hiding a comment does not a hide it, FIX THAT.

Simple solution to what causes much more annoying problems.

Shit posting and a perfectly fine and acceptable comment do not go hand in hand, there is quite a big gap there, and if someone thinks a fine comment is shit posting, then it's their porblem, after all, it's also their trade, and they should have every right to moderate it to their own taste, and not have to go off the opinion of some other random person with a fancy name color.

People shit posting on my trade is a concern to me, amnd it's not a mods job to constantly hide comments instead of actually punishing the people constantly posting them.

one way i can see this being abused is lets say some1 scammed some1 by refunding a game after they traded it, or refunded a paypal transaction.

its alot quicker to comment on there trade to warn other users then to report them (obviously you should report them) but in the day or 2 it takes for them to get banned they can scam other users. with an approval of comments system, they can just deny all comments that say they are a scammer.

Although some comments on my trades are all fine, there is a still a good bunch of the total dumbfucks that seem to throw their opinions around like anybody would actually care.

I don't know how many people I have reported at this point, but it seems ridiculous to constantly ask mods to deal with that shit when they probably got much better things to do, and it is an issue that could simply be dealt with by any individual user with a click of a button.

Hiding a comment does not hide it unless you go bug a moderator about it, give everyone the ability to hide comments permanently, or implement a approval system so they wont even show up for anybody than the trade owner and staff members, unless approved.

Been asking for this simple implementation for MONTHS, yet nothing is being done about it
