Those are known as misleading trades and should be reported if in their trade notes it does not say their actual price.

The biggest chunk of these trades are sharkers buying festives for 2 ref on the card, and 1 rec in the trade.

Actually there is a rule for that.

3.No misleading trades. If you're looking to trade 1.33 refined for some hat, please don't put 2 refined up on the left hand side. It's the same as false advertising in the commercial world and is frowned upon. If we see these trades, we'll close them.

You get banned, for spamming useless and fake things, reporting something that is breaking the rules is not spamming.

This isn't the problem.
The problem is that traders are putting up misleading trades.
The most common one is putting ref on the card while buying items for rec.

Also, if items are worth what people pay for then, what is the point of the sharking rule?

Go in to settings and click "show notes" for trades or something, then the notes will be shown before a trade thread is even opened.

It dosen't matter what I see, it matters because these are misleading trades.

You can see someone mug an old lady on the street. You can report it to the police and help her, or you can just look away.

Here is an example: Someone sais on the sell trade card, 6 ref, and on the other buy card, say, 6 festive items, when you see it you think he is buying festive items for ref, right?

But when you click on the actuall trade, he sais he is actually buying then for 1 rec.

That is a misleading trade because he misled you into thinking he buys festives for ref when he dosen't.

I have gone on a mass reporting quest of all these mislead trades. It' getting really annoying, I really hope other people do the same. It's getting annoying when only 1 out of 20 trades is a legit one.

I am talking about people saying they buy festives for a ref, when they are buying for a rec, or worse a scarp, I mean, does no one read the rules, at all? This is getting annying, half the trades on outpost are misleading lowballs, do admins take a look at the report cards? I feel like these trades are becoming more and more by the day.
