In Search enter "scattergun", click the botkiller you want, click it and change to Strange, then you need to put something on the right, like ref or key depending upon value of the one you are looking for (or possibly offers).

There should be an orange "Let's Go" button for submitting a main offer for a trade or for saying "added", etc. if you agree to their main offer. For sub-replies (like if they agree or counter your offer), there is no submit button, you just hit Enter key.

Note that you should not hijack trades (don't make an offer to someone the trader rejected), add your own New trade instead.

How do you search for Strange weapons in general? For example if I enter the name of a weapon, it only comes up with the Unique version. If I try strange and the name of the weapon, it comes up empty. If I just enter "strange" (w/o quotes) it only finds Strange Bacon Grease and assorted Strange Parts (no weapons).

Never mind, just figured that out from another post about the drop down list once I put a weapon up there and click on it for a drop down list.

Kamikaze I assume your 1st line should say "left" and just the 2nd line "right". I did figure out the dotted lines when I noticed such items were uncraftable.

The tf2outpost.com website does not seem to have any instructions about how to use the website or proceed with a trade. The help+rules link is mostly just rules.

I assume that what the poster is offering is on the left and what they are looking for is on the right. But some of the items seem to be greyed out (does that mean that they do not currently have such items on the left or already acquired such items on the right). And in some cases items have dotted lines around them (what does that mean?).

Do you have to leave a message in the trade and then somehow coordinate when you will both be online through Steam?
