I guess his point is, who donates a lot to outpost is unlikely to make a mistake in which he will get permanently banned from using the site. The rules changed and he had no idea.

I myself would have seen the last time he had logged into the site or in the event sent a message telling him about the problem before had banned him but i guess maybe the ban was automatic done by a script or code within the website as there are too many users. I also would have sent to him a message if he had not replied to the first message "if this ban was a mistake please add me to talk about it and we will work out." but I guess OP point is "I deserve more respect than this" as I'm a donator and I helped the site in a way.". However admins and moderators help a lot the site too on their own way and what happened here was within the mistakes humans tend to commit time to time after lots of work.

@Sneeza, anyway to make important announcements visible at the top of every user "my trades", it seems the announcements only go to main index page reason I never saw that the rules had been updated. I never check the "http://www.tf2outpost.com/" / index.php page and I'm quite certain many users don't check it either.

@Sneeza, any thoughts about it, I was banned for 12 hours because I had 3 old trades with the words "I accept bitcoins", also I never traded for money, bitcoins was an experiment but never completed a trade for it too. I'm a top 10 donor and the 9727th tf2outpost member and was never banned before this incident.
