It's one user who is constantly making new accounts to hook his bots up to so they can scrub TF2outpost and he can sell the stolen accounts' items on the market to buy new games instead of working like the rest of us. So far they all have really shitty usernames, non-valve photos, and of course private accounts. Check the account and if it's private DO NOT ACCEPT. Of course I accept anyway to see if it's legit, but 9 times out of ten I either see the user was banned a few minutes after I got the request for attempted phishing and/or scamming.

Currently only one major bot system I know of that has been doing this and it's some user who has tried to use their bots to get by using two names (tyjuk3ef and fawcybkuu3) and both times I have reported and have gotten confirmation about their ban, although the fawcy account was mere minutes ago and I got confirmation, so Steam is working quick to get these bastards off the site.

If you really want to rid yourself of phishers, start using trade offers to trade instead of allowing people to add you. Those bots have 0 items so it's impossible for them to send you a trade offer (It's possible but it's never happened to me ever)

Usually they may have gotten a few less informed players and their accounts may actually be filled with pages of weapons. I just block and wait for a real trade.

Less than 3 seconds after I bumped one of my trades I got a trade request from a user named "tyjuk3ef". Checked the account and it of course was private, decided to friend anyway to see if it was legit and the guy/girl (/bot as it turned out) just kept their inventory private to hide their good items.

Immediately after hitting accept, got this message:

tyjuk3ef: hey mate my friend wants to trade with you but he cant add you (steam error )add him please steamcomnunrty.com/id/76561198069779786/

Trained to see things like this I pointed out the fake steam name (obvious as hell) and reported to Valve and blocked the account. I fear this bot is targeting several new posts until the account gets banned so PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR THIS USER AND DO NOT ACCEPT ANY STEAM LINKS BEFORE MAKING SURE THEY ARE THE REAL WEBSITE!!

Inform any people on Steam of this username and tell them do not accept any links given by this bot. Thank God hijackers are running out of links to use so they become a bit more obvious as time goes on.
