Well, if it is a scheduled maintenance/upgrade? Why can't they post about it here? Or put up a temporary redirect to a "site under maintenance from X to Y" page?

If it's an outage, unexpected downtime, then I can understand they are working on it as best they can and don't have time to communicate...but surely someone in the know should be able to post an update here.

I have noticed it become down or unresponsive many times over the past few days. What gives?
I'd donate to help support the site and it's hosting..if that was ever an option again.

I can't find anywhere on the site how we get more trades. I remember it being like 5 as a start, 5 more for joining this group, and I'm pretty sure there were a bunch based on donations, which I know is down for an unknown amount of time in the future. (THIS IS NOT ABOUT DONATIONS, I JUST WANT TO KNOW ANY OTHER WAYS TO GET MORE TRADES)

But are there any ways to get more trades besides that? Or was the only way to get more by donating?

Protip: Probably should put the number of trades, and how to get more by joining this group somewhere on the site, maybe under help+rules? I think others would benefit from that.

Suggestion: Come up with a way for people to get auto-bumping, or more trades without involving donations? Maybe temporarily increase everyones max number of trades by like 5 until the donating thing is fixed?

Just ideas. 10 trades is not enough when I have over 500 tradable tf2/steam items.

This is true, they OP could be just contacting people privately. But if they haven't hidden, or done anything to their post in obviously months, that to me makes them a bad trader. Clean up your posts. Hide uneccessary comments. If someone added you and you contacted them privately, hit the green accept button. Let people know you're active!!

Side note: It would be nice if the post had a thing like "Last edited by [user] on " so those who put things like "not buying at the moment" we know how long their post has been like that. Might help the admins too.

I agree completely with the annoyance of the person not having the item, or 'not buying at the moment' who have their trades autobumped. Because they aren't technically trading.

If someone is offline, I'm okay with that to a degree.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED: Posts that don't have any action from the creator after say a week, need to be auto closed. I have run across a few trades that were autobumped, where the person has obviosly not been on TF2OP, or Steam for ALMOST A MONTH. They're full of comments about people adding them, but no accepting/hiding of posts from the original poster.

Makes me wonder. If someone who donated, and has their posts autobumped, where in a tragic accident (I honestly hope not, this is just for the sake of discusssion), and passed away. Would their posts autobump forever?

Stupid question time! The site rules says in it's rules: "becoming a donator is the only way to legitimately have autobumps."

Well, as hundreds have pointed out, the donation page is borked. So would it still be against the rules to crate/use an autobump script until the donation page is fixed so I can donate? (Now that I've gotten more into trading and want to autobump my trades...I have horrible timing).

My guess is the answer will still be a "NO SCRIPTS!" If this is the case, I suggest the wording of that rule be changed to add at the end of it "(Unless the donation page is down, then you are just out of luck)."
