and a purge system for attachements wouldnt help with that issue?
like you could start with purge inaktive trades / closed trades and all the attachments in that, sure it takes up some space, but again i think thats a little price to pay for keeping the site link free for phishing attacks etc ;)

well as norby just said 1 sec before me ;) its only the OP that can so as i suggested allow comments to have the same ability, if not then tell me a valid reason why they shouldnt be allowed to do so, and just make an automatic purge of attachements after 1 month since i hardly think a trade is up for more than 1 month, if it is just do 2 months or whatever amountof time u find fitting, users could always re attach the images if they get purged, right? :)


images should be in thumbnail so others can click on it :) anything else would just be stupid :P

well add some [img]url[/img] so it shows image url instead of the link by default, but really think about why would u link to other things ? like its trading place not social thingy where u post video blogs etc

only thing i noticed was that people commenting cant use this attachment its only the OP that can, so maybe u guys wanna give that ability to people who comments :)

come to think of it why dont u even allow image links ?
there is an attachement system and as far as i tried i couldnt upload a zip file or .exe just images so just remove all links since TF2OP already have an service to provide for image upload :)

why would anyone have an need to post any other links on to TF2OP if its not images ?

you cang et free .com or org etc but they come with a subdomain i think i managed to find 1 .com which was free for 1 year :)

or maybe just make a msgbox pop up when someone presses a link..saying that they are now moving outside of tf2outpost.

they download and execute :)
furthermore i know the difference between java and java script ;)
and u can code java drive by scripts which will disable the prompts it just requires u too find exploits in the browsers :)
hence what a said a decent coder would probably be able to find a way to remove the prompt :)
it has been done before and it certainly can be done again, if someone invest enough time in it ;)

i dont hack / hijack myself and i am mainly coding in c# but i know this :)
if needed i can set up an vid example of this with a prompt ofc , dont have time to fiddly with browser exploits i may or may not find :)
