for the closed suggestion, I would have been satisfied with him citing your answer as the reason for it being closed. It jsut wasn't clear that that was the reason why.

So if I have more than 8 hats, I can only have 1 trade with hats on it if I list all their prices on it? Given that the text searching isn't as concrete a search as by item, it's easier to find people selling stuff when they have the item up for trade, compared to listed in the trade notes.

The text search function on outpost is nice, but it doesn't have the intelligence to deal with misspelling or abbreviations, or details following a link. That's why having multiple trades showing the different crates for sale is preferred, it gets better exposure without duplicating trades entirely. With your interpretation, I am limited to advertising 8 out of many different items I have for sale (albeit they are all crates, but different series, which means a lot more than different weapon/hat levels/craft numbers)

A couple of hours ago hemiola posted on my suggestion about warning suggestions stating that several of my trades that got closed were relisting that could not be fixed with changing the trade text. I'd like to contest his action on 2 points.

1. His post did not mention anything about the actual suggestion that I had provided. Nooge provided a reasonable reply, but given hemiola did not provide a reason for why the suggestion should be declined, it would make sense to re-open it, or provide reason (or side with Nooge).

2. My trades were not relisting. Each trade had unique crate series and therefore was showing all of the different crates I was selling. Relisting would be the same crate series on multiple trades. I can't help that they all have the same intent, to sell my crates. As stated by VoxDei for the reason they got closed, "Relisting.
Even if the crates are different, your text in each is exactly the same. This violates our relisting rule." (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7825039) The reason it was deemed relisting was due to the text. hemiola's comment directly contradicts VoxDei's reasoning. If there was different text, there would be no reason to close the trades for relisting (at least of the two options to qualify as relisting, same items or same text)

Ok, it would be nice to have some sort of help for what BB code stuff is implemented (besides trawling through the forums here) as well as other customizations. Maybe just an expanded FAQ. Thanks for the info though.

Am I blind or is the page that explained how the trades work/what BB code was allowed, etc gone? I can't seem to find it anywhere, it used to be linked in the top right, not it seems to be gone.

Is it possible to have a setting added which keeps track of how many invites were sent using the "add on steam" button on a trade? Just another stat like bookmarks and # of views. mostly i'm curious to see how many time people have added me, whether or not the invite is still there when i log in.

Any opinions?

just noticed an issue with creating a new trade.

If i click on items A, B, and C to add them to the trade then click on item A and then click item D to add it to trade, it replaces item A. The problem is then that item A cannot be readded to the trade in a different slot. both items A and D will show as being in the trade and even if you remove item D, you still cannot readd item A.

Inconvenience if you misclick and stuff

When i close a trade or delete an item from my trade, even if i am looking at all my trades it opens that trade up. this is tiresome, especially with closing multiples trade. Since i closed it, i have no interest in seeing the trade again. And it also makes removing items sold from trades that much more tiresome.
