There's an additional field where you say what you bought, and you must select if you "bought, sold, or traded" the item. This is drastically different from SourceOP, where you can leave +rep for whatever you want, as long as it happened on their site.

And people can't leave rep for whatever they want on there?
I saw severl I went first, +rep without saying what it was, though I do understand that is the stupididy of the commenter and can happen on SOP too.
My main question is, is their rep limited to $Money$ transactions?

I just checked out Skial, and it doesn't even look like you can give a reason for the rep, other than leaving it on the profile comments. I did not see a specific section on the profile for money based rep comments, so how do I know what kind of trades the person has done? do I have to sift through their profile comment section to find those for rep? Is the rep limited to Paypal/Money transactions or can I leave rep because I traded a guy for a strange pistol? Seems kind of fishy to me.

I've actually only dealt with a couple of mods/admins but one guy closed my trade because it said something like "Please stop posting your stupid fucking lowballs assholes" and then had a typo on the reason telling me to remake the trade with the bad language. That led to him adding me so he could tell me he mean without the bad language, when all that was really necessary was asking me to take the language out of the notes instead of closing the damn trade and making me redo it. I mean a mod/admin should be smart enough to realise that we can revise the trade notes.

Hardly stupidity, its a game. TF2 isn't meant to be realistic, if you want realism, go play a game that doesn't involve becoming invincible via a mysterious gas out of a fire hose, hitting people with fish, or making rockets reverse direction by hitting them with a blast of air.

The fact is that people use these terms, whether you like it or not, people use them.

Realism and stupidity are two different things. I know it is not realistic fuckhead.

The fact is it's not even the game, it's the trading community. I've been playing TF2 since the game was released, but never new what a Solly was until about a year ago. When I first decided to start trading people made no sense because they would use terms like FoN or Solly or DR instead of actually just using the real word.

I can see solly for soldier, okay yes it is slightly shorter and if you type worse than my dog it might save you time. As far as hoovy, scoot, or snoipah go there is no sense to it so yes stupidity would be the best way to describe it.

Lowballing barely exists. People call any offer they don't like "a lowball" which is quite pathetic. There is a difference between making a margin for profit, and legitimately offering a stupidly low price.

Not making reference to your statement obviously, but just to the statement on a whole.

Lowballing is very rampent on OP (or any other trade site) when dealing with items worth several keys or more.
