What about people who have only TF2 in their library and aren't bots? Some people actually only play TF2, believe it or not. Besides, I've seen bots with more than seven years of activity and around fifty games on their library. Probably from some dumb fuck who actually logged in into their scam website.

There really is no way to stop it, apparently. It is just sad.

Funny, I was banned once for having my profile set to private. But I guess this doesn't matter.

Seriously. What the hell? I've had a couple of trades open for two days. I got six friend invites, ALL OF THEM were from bots telling me that their "friend wants to trade" with me and whatever. I talked to a few friends who use the Outpost and most of them told me they had seen this problem as well.

Now, I'm sure all of you are aware of this problem, but seriously, can anyone actually do something about it? All of the bot's profiles that I came in contact with had their profile settings to "private", so I believe that this could be a starting point - if one's setting of privacy is private, don't allow them to see the trades, provided they are logged in, of course.

I'll be honest, though, I didn't look for a discussion regarding this matter, even though I read the pinned "Phishing links" thread.

I hope we can have a discussion about this.
