Genuines always become tradable at a later date. Nothing wrong with receiving offers for them in the meantime.

"Hiding trades" has been suggested before but it isn't an available feature on the site.

Being a donator does not grant you any special privileges. He can report you but you shouldn't be worried, if you've done nothing wrong you won't be banned.

There really aren't many other games that support trading. There is:

Spiral Knights
Super Monday Night Combat
Counter Strike: Global Offensive (currently it only has 1 item)
CrimeCraft Gangwars (used to have trading, not even sure what happened to it)

Portal 2 is supported by OP but barely anyone trades any Portal 2 items. I don't think Spiral Knights or SMNC are even nearly as popular as TF2 or Dota 2 trading and I remember Sneeza saying they have a very different system from the current ones meaning it would take a bit of effort to get it working when there are many aspects of the site that could be improved. Bottom line, it's just not worth it.

People predicted that it would be removed from the store/drop system due to some rumors or misunderstanding. Of course that never happened but for a brief period of time people were paying more than a few keys for one thinking it would explode in value. They were wrong but it seems that that mentality remained in some traders and they think it should be worth more than a normal common.

I would post that in the suggestions or even bugs section so that Sneeza notices it and implements it on the site.

Sounds more like a fake steamrep page than a phishing link. Scammers often create such pages to make you believe they are a trusted trader when in fact they're not.
