Or someone can ask a friend to post a fake offer directly on Outpost. You can't prevent this, if the current offer is suspiciously too high then they probably won't sell the item anyway since nobody will pay that much.

One of my trades was closed for the same reason (I guess someone got jealous and reported it). I used one big single trade to list all the items I'm selling and an untradable item to represent it. Then I would just link to that trade in every other one I had (so people could see my other items if they were interested in them).

Personally I don't think it hurt anyone but then I read it's against the rules. I mean you can't trade that item anyway so why is it even the list of items you can sell? If you could disable autobumping on trades you couldn't even say it clogs the main page. Yet I keep seeing people selling 7 stuff and a Gold/Silver/Bronze Badge or whatever.

I think this rule is unnecessary, either that or a blacklist of items should be made that aren't included among the other items.

You're wasting time reporting such trades, they're not breaking any rules.

What if I want to sell something for 2 keys but then I see they're rising in price and I change my offer to 3. Should I be suspended? No.

Would you go to Asda/Walmart and try and offer them a sausage roll for a pork pie? No you wouldn't. If the seller has their trade listed as a SALE, then the buyer is in no right to offer anything other than that.

If you ask money for something and you get an offer in diamonds (which is 2-3 times more valuable) would you refuse it? Sure you'd have to resell them but hey it's more than what you asked for.

Sure we can just click hide, but you could say that about anything, let's say someone posts a huge racist rant on someone's trade, that'd be against the rules, right? "But you could just click hide!" - no, it doesn't work like that.

That's completely irrelevant, it's in the rules to be polite to your fellow traders and not call them any names. Yes it can be considered disrespectful not to read the OPs notes but offering something other than what you asked for isn't crossing any line and certainly can't be called trolling, unless the person is doing it on purpose to annoy you. Most of the times though that isn't the case so you'll have to learn to deal with it yourself.

He's probably a scammer, if somebody genuinely wants to buy your hat they would never rush the trade.

While I know how you feel since I keep getting that all the time, I completely disagree with you. Prices change all the time, some items might be rising others dropping like dead flies. Some people forsee that and offer accordingly. I know it can be frustrating for the seller but all you have to do about it is hide their post. It's just one click.

I also think those who have rules like "if you lowball you'll get reported" should be the ones getting banned instead. They have ridiculously high prices and when someone offers them a fair trade they get real mad. It's not in the rules, so don't abuse the report system and stop wasting moderator's time.

It took me several weeks till I found them. I think they should be made more noticable since they aren't actually 'items' so they don't belong there. A new category named '0' (before 'A') that contains 'Offers', 'Weapon', 'Craft Hat', 'Game' should do the trick.
