i dont care about prices that much I find it childish to price pixels but i wont like to be banned for something that stupid as that...
I was always trading like that btw...before even you build your site.

That isn't sharking at all. If they choose what they want and are happy with the deal then everything is okay. The only problem would be if they ask you the value of an item in your backpack and you lie about it to fool them into a trade that benefits you more.

Partially true, the defining point of sharking is deceit- and in many cases not mentioning that you're paying 1% of the price of an item, especially if the user is new, and even more so is a new user was targeted for the trade is as much as a deceit as outright lying about the price.

In the case of sharking, we hope users exercise honour and common sense. If a user is very new, don't fleece them for their items, that does not make a good trading community or a stable economy.

Outpost's approach to sharking is to make it harder for sharks to work by banning their accounts and the accounts of those who make tools for sharking. Through this, we hope we can make it easier for new traders to get into the economy.

We appreciate users wanting to make a profit, but like any sensible trading platform, we want to support fair trade where both parties benefit.

It feels as though this thread isn't monitored anymore :(

Yup. An occasional response to let us know that this thread is being watched would be nice, especially to the tons of users and donors that frequent the site everyday. I personally still find many ways the site could be improved:

1. Add a button linking from the user's comment to their steam page. I 99% of the time never use the "add friend" button. Without this function, I have to go to the person's profile, and then go to their steam page, making it a hassle and inconvenience.

2. The find item function is not working properly for me. I don't know about others, but when I look for an item, it'll briefly flash for less than a second and then disappear. I often have to click "search" as many as 50 times before I can actually see the item icon that I'm looking for.

3. The "most traded" widget REALLY REALLY REALLY should go. It's useless. I understand that the ride side is now used to support advertisements and announcements, but that squeezes everything else. It feels cramped. Why not have announcements at the top like before? Ads can be put at the bottom or top where they won't interfere with a perfectly good site layout. As it stands, the trades still feel awkwardly spaced apart and squeezed together horizontally.

I appreciate all the work that has gone into this, but complacence doesn't fix ongoing issues. If you read this, please take note of what I'm noticing needs improvement, as I'm sure I'm not the only one with complaints.
We do have a separate section for suggestions and bugs, those should be posted there, it's very hard to deal with them all in one thread.
