I understand your pain lad. I've had that problem myself quite alot, on serveral ocations. Where people are overall rude and then later on, acting very hypocritical and spends a time writing a even ruder comment on one of your pages all because that they are angry over that you "disagreed" with their own "firm" price. There are the good polite traders. And there are the ones this topic is about. The hottempered arses. As Currier tells, there sure are some rotten apples in the bunch.

But i can give you a polite tip or some more. Before you make your offer, ask the lad/lassie if they only accept metal/keys/"pure". Also if their price is "firm" or not. If they say yes, simply turn away if you only want to offer items. If they say yes, but they then demand a "overpay", proceed with caution, they tend to be quite ridicolous when it comes to highballing on "overpaying" and will take no risks when it comes to being rude. But most of all, remain polite. Like the sniper. Polite, and efficent.

There may be some ungrateful people on outpost, but remember! You are not alone when it comes to this type of situations.

The lad is already banned from outpost, he is an alt of a marked scammer, his offenses being mostly Quick Switch attempts. And yes, he is marked too. http://steamrep.com/?id=76561198083920604

You should have known that the backpack most be 100% public. I was in a similar situation like you, around seven months ago. But Pretender removed that ban from me when i begged him to get rid of it (mostly because that i made me backpack public). You should be fine as long as you avoid making yer backpack private. And it's true, there is an admin that also got banned for having it's backpack private, about 4 times. I think it was Everything You Do Is A Balloon, right?

You should report him on steamrep if you suspect him of being a scammer. Doing that and that he gets successfully marked will cause alot of pain in the ass for him, as a marked scammer isn't only automaticlly banned from most trading sites, but might also get banned automaticlly on servers with the steamrep checker script.

You have to do that manually i'm afraid. Simply go on someones profile on outpost/steam and look for the block user button. Press it and they are blocked.

I went for a cheap one that i liked. The N&B Prince Tavish crown that is. Go for a cheap unusual to start with. Also, when i unboxed my very first unusual which was, ironiclly during christmas eve, i unboxed my first nice crate and got an unusual Bonk Boy with Blizzardy Storm (which is even more ironic). It all depends on your strategy. Unboxing an unusual is extremely rare, and if you only want an unusual and you want it now, you don't care what unusual you get, i suggest that go for a cheap "cancer" unusual with a "cancer" effect, such as the purple confetti Football helmet. Your way to get the unusual depends on your patience.
