Regardless of anyone's feelings towards Backpack.tf, it isn't fair to say that they are somehow the root cause of key prices. If enough people wanted key prices to fall (in terms of refined metal), then they would simply need to stop buying keys until sellers lowered the price.

We are not going to try and dictate what sellers can ask for with keys. As long as it is reasonable (not a troll/joke price) and within our rules, we have no desire to interfere with our user's trades.

Quickbuying/selling never has been, nor will it ever be considered scamming. Scamming strictly requires one side to lie/manipulate the other person involved and includes them not upholding their side of an agreement. If both sides are happy with the deal and are walking away with everything that was promised to them, there isn't anything to question.

As for the effects of quickbuying on the market, it's undeniable that it has had some impact, but what impact it has is so up in the air for debate that I could talk all day about it. People clearly have mixed feelings, and it's best to avoid worrying about it if you're finding luck in it.

You can't fault Nooge for stating what anyone of us would in this case. The original question was answered and a time when they'd be unbanned was given. If the answer is stated on our site, why not just state it instead of waiting on us to do it. It's a win-win in my eyes.

I have explained this to you twice in the past, we will not tolerate those nazi themed items being listed on our site. If you do it one more time, you will be permanently banned.

Valve recently updated the default privacy settings for users to be more restrictive. We had to ban many accounts for this so scammers and similar types of unwanted people cannot take advantage of the situation and claim ignorance.
