There is a little message box at the bottom of the webpage on each trade. Just type in what you're offering and hit enter. Each message also gets it's own reply box, so make sure to use the large one at the bottom for a new offer.

While I was under the impression that the donation I made gave benefits for life, I can understand why this change was needed and is for the better.

I have a strong hunch that many of you claiming that Outpost will never see a dime from you weren't going to donate any more anyway, because you (and I) paid your $10/7 keys and called it there once you got your blue name. Without this, Outpost wouldn't get another cent from many 3rd level donators because they had no incentive to donate further.

While not thrilled to pay money to receive the same benefits I've already had (Though I get a year from my past donation, which takes a lot of the sting out), I can see why this was needed. The site is used by hundreds of thousands of users and isn't cheap to maintain while offering these services for free.

Just try and stand back and look at it from a business standpoint, the old model wasn't sustainable and if the site went under, your donator perks were going away anyway. I'm pretty sure if we could see the cost of running a site this large is, then many people wouldn't be so quick to jump to acting like they're owed something for using a website that directly benefited them for even donating a single dollar.

I've pretty much stopped trying to trade to amass earbuds for the last month or so, and surprisingly have fallen back in love with TF2.

I pretty much happened to sell off a good majority of my backpack to buy games with the intent to just buy my way back, and sort of just had that feeling after that putting money into trading and trying to get profit isn't as fun as it used to be. Too many people trying to scrounge any amount of profit has made everyone's opportunity to profit pretty much disappear.

Pretty much setting goals to casually trade for rather than going for sheer profit has taken out a bunch of the unfun parts of trading and made everything fresh again. I'd say if you're on the fence about trading, go for a smallish goal and see if it's fun to achieve it, if it's fun you should continue, otherwise just walk away.

Actually went and did some research, and you are in fact correct. Post #149 in the FAQ sticky confirms:

"It's fine to use an alt providing you aren't using it to evade a ban. Just make sure not to list items across multiple accounts. "

Well coming from you, I have to believe it. But then why are alternate accounts such a popular reasoning for permanently banned users?

I can understand having an alternate account for expired items, which has typically been a gray area, but most of the times I've seen anything allowing extra exposure (autobump scripts and relisting) was grounds for banning.

After checking, Macropower does seem to have two accounts, but one is inactive, and only has up a closed trade containing expired crates.

On top of that, a screenshot or some other proof may be asked, a copy and pasted chat isn't enough in most cases.
