Just had this happen to me. It redirected me to a random site that attempted to download and install some program 27 times within about 2 minutes of having that page load.

I know this isn't any fault of the staff, but seeing how ZAM now owns OP, and seeing how they are a pretty big company, shouldn't they fix this? I mean, I know if it were my company and OP was a branch of my company I wouldn't want to lose customers all because of some stupid ad(s) sending malicious software to its viewers.

OP makes enough money from their subs and ads. FFS you guys can figure this out. Stop being lazy and money hungry and get some people on this!

I have since switched to premium, but I have experienced these ads when on non premium accounts and I have to say, some of the ads DO direct you to a page that WILL download a trojan.

I too understand that you have no influence on what ads are played, but I feel like eventually OP will have a scandal of some sort in which an ad downloads a massive trojan that wipes somebody's PC. Or worse, a TF2 player has a fake ad on there somehow and downloads a key logger to steal passwords and such.

Its only a matter of time before stuff like this happens. I mean, I see sooooo many other sites using the same ad agency as OP does. Yet, none of them direct you to a totally different site without your say so, then downloads a fake java update. NO site does that if they want to be at all reputable.

I feel that would help a ton. The only ad I really have a problem with is the stupid country music ad. There are two running at once. The ad begins to play then suddenly stops. Leaving us hearing the start of drums playing or something beginning to speak then stops. It is quite annoying and loud.

Well it seems as if now outpost has yet their most annoying ad/bug yet.

There now seems to be a bug with ads. The ad will begin to play then randomly cut out. The first word of the ad barely gets out then it cuts out. It will replay this 3-4 times in a row. It is really loud. Really annoying and really old.
