Thanks for the reply. I don't mean to be rude, but I clearly pointed out what I did and that it was against the rules and wrong. So I am obviously aware and your copy & paste of a rule I already said I am (at least now) aware of and know was broken seems to be kinda pointless unless meant for others.

I was just asking others who have been in that situation, you know expressing my feelings and all that to share if so inclined. This post has nothing to do with Why I was banned or if it was unjust, etc...

I am just asking others if they have been in this type of situation
eg: they were bothered in one way or another and did not report it, thinking themselves petty or the issue resolved, etc.. and in return got the short end of the stick.

Anyway, I deserved the ban! No denying it, I did curse and reply back rudely after several rude replies and thread spamming from said person.

In my opinion though, it would be nice if staff would punish both parties when a report is made and both are in the wrong. But instead only the reported gets a ban. But... that is my fault for not reporting him instead of reacting.

I was very ill not to long ago and offered on a summer hat thinking it was uncraftable, not the craftable 2-3 bud ones. So I made an offer and he was not happy about my mistake. I apologized and thought we moved on, only to find out besides the half dozen rude and belittling texts on his trade, he spammed mine with rude and or dumb comments and finally I replied on my trade I think that he was a raging blank blank. Granted no rudeness, so a ban I guess was deserved. But c'mon what about the so and so that provoked this mess cause he had to rage and could not accept that human beings are not perfect.

I am not ban complaining or whatnot, just curious if any other hard working honest rule (mostly) abiding traders have gotten banned in this way? a rude comment or 2 replied to someone who is intentionally harassing and or spamming you on your thread.

Annoying is not misleading or rule breaking though. But yeah, I agree. That really irkes me as well and those rec in thread ref in trade, trades etc. ofc. are totaly against the rules. It happens nearly every day to me and even then more than 1 time a day..

People who sell "sets" are already annoying enough, fake trades top if off. If they don't have items, wait till they get it.

Not what I meant. People put up items as placeholders for selling sets or when looking to buy /trade for certain things such as trading cards for example. I agree with you entirely on the point you made. I think you misunderstood or I was not clear on what specific thing I was talking about.

Actually there is a rule for that.

3.No misleading trades. If you're looking to trade 1.33 refined for some hat, please don't put 2 refined up on the left hand side. It's the same as false advertising in the commercial world and is frowned upon. If we see these trades, we'll close them.

imo, if you are indeed selling them at that price then shouldn't be an issue. but I am not a mod nor adm

You get banned, for spamming useless and fake things, reporting something that is breaking the rules is not spamming.

Very True. I outright refused a lvl 7 Max for 1.25 Pure because of that reason. If buying for myself with no intention of re trade or profit, then it wouldn't matter so much. Serious traders like myself and others stay away for the reason above explained by "Lava". ^^^

It is annoying, but imo you are letting it get to you on a personal level. That will only upset you more and resolve nothing. Take a deep breath and report. But if you go on a mass reporting spree, as you said previously then don't be surprised if they consider it spamming support. that can get u banned/suspended. So even though it is annoying, make sure they are actually breaking a rule first. just some advice. Good luck.

This is a HUUUUUGE Problem for me also. As I have had 3 trades ruined and also people calling me liar for putting up a game and asking for another. I just hope I was not wrongly reported as I put warnings on my trades and closed them. As a matter of fact I have to go close another one, YEAH :( . Please ascertain the situation, so a fix can be put in to effect. Thanks :)
