People have bad days, and some people are not necessarily intending to be rude, the internet masks sarcasm and such, due to the fact it is just text, it's fairly hard to convey emotion through a TF2Outpost trade response/trade offer.

Some people, like myself, can be just blatantly rude, most of the time, those people get sick of idiots not reading notes, which isn't hard at all. Other times, lowballs are the cause, I myself have a fairly short temper, and once I put a trade up, I try to be polite for the first few notes-ignorers and lowballers, but after a while it becomes annoying, how hard is it to read, in some cases, 3 words, such as DO NOT ADD ME, DO NOT OFFER UNUSUALS, etc.

Of course, if people are rude without any justification, that is their downfall, they probably won't receive as much offers as others, etc.

In response to people saying the coloured text and the multiple lines of caps are worthy of a possible block, whatever, if you can't take the fact that some people like to make their trades pop out, or their notes grab attention of those who choose not to read them, thats fine, I'm sure those people, including myself, would rather not trade with you if you choose to take such a negative attitude towards people trying to get others to acknowledge the notes.

I realise this may all sound a bit rich, given that I can be the spitting example of a jerk in a lot of situations.

Hey all,
My name is Arkhm, I have frequented the TF2-Outpost website for quite some time ( using the TF2 part. )
I have recently come across a few admins, who have been doing their job and copping quite a lot of stuff for it.
I realised, that as a community, we don't give back to the people who help enhance and keep our gaming and trading clean and fun.
I have created a group https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/Adminappreciationweek called Admin Appreciation Week.
I realise having some random guy with no reputation is a bit daunting, especially when he is asking you to donate to some cause, but that isn't necessary, as I have one of the most well liked and nicest admins out who is a fellow admin in my group, Zemnmez. He is renowned for having the Sunbeams Ebenezer and for contributing and admining TF2Outpost.
The event starts on the 1st of December, and ends on the 7th. This group is entirely about thanking you guys, the admins, moderators what have you.
Once you have donations, you are free to do whatever you want with them. I will trade them over to the Head Admin once the week is finished.
Being such a frequent user of Outpost, I was wondering, if I can get more bots, if you guys, as a bunch, would like to have a donation bot assigned to you.

Well, honestly, I thought the price was pretty fair, they looked great. But this isn't mentioned in the basic rules section.
There should be a change or something because even though that is given, rule #2 was no reason to close the trade.

Also, I cannot seem to find in the rules that if a trade has the price of an item too high that it warrants a closing of trade, if there is this, please direct me to it, my iPad is refusing to load the entire page.

Well fair enough, but I also paid for the decals and for the decal'ing to be done. The price would have gone up to about 3 keys each ( I paid 2 keys for the decal and decal'ing, yes stupid I know ).
But really the reason for closing the trade wasn't there, if the objectors were overpriced, a fair reason for closing it was that the price was too high. But trade rule #2 in this situation has nothing to do with this situation.

Ok, so I know a lot of people may not agree with me, nor think I have a valid excuse.
But I used objectors in a trade, like so http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/10604015 for the reason of "Using objectors to advertise/gain attention. Violation of Trade Rule #2."

Trade Rule #2 clearly states that items are not to be used unless you are actually going to trade the items.

It clearly says on my trade that I am selling the objectors, for a price of 1 bills. If someone was to offer a bills for them, I would have traded.
It wasn't relisting, nor was I doing anything wrong.

I am not sure why the trade was closed, but I feel a change of the rules is needed, because I clearly was selling the objectors.
Not accusing anyone, just would like a constructive discussion about this.

Thats a fair point, but duping does change the price signifcantly on some hats. I had a duped Sunbeams Samureye, I could hardly fetch 17 for it, the clean ones could easily fetch more.
I completely agree though, having a duped item shouldn't affect the price as there is nothing we can do about dupes anymore, but the sad truth is people still care and always will care about dupes.
