Most quickbuying trades are being ignored because the lowball is just too lowballing. So when you search for buyer of some specific item, you usually get 50 pages of "quiksell only 1-2 key for any unusial dont call me stupid or i report you!" that nobody is interested in. And you should try really hard to find someone who actually wants that item. Since most of these assholes are donators, fair traders just don't have a chance against them.

Oh my pony, are you serious? Outpost and bazaar are completely different trading websites. Outpost is "free market" where everyone is free to set any price and offer any trade at all. Bazaar is a "fair market" where you should keep your offers close enough to suggested values of items that are being traded, where quickbuying and overvaluing items is forbidden.
Outpost is just a business, bazaar is mainly a community of fair traders who simply don't want to scam or be scammed.
Because bazaar users dislike outpost, outpost admins hate bazaar and see it as their competitor. So they want people to not know about bazaar and keep using their website. The proof is that links to tf2tp, tf2marketplace and tf2dispenser, and basically any other tf2-related website are okay, only links to bazaar are counted as advertisement.

Advertising is something like "Hey, outpost is full of lowballers, use bazaar, here's the link". Otherwise it's just a proof of c/o, and closing trades because of that is just stoopid.

Phishing links is actually the only thing that should be hidden permanently(because a lot of silly people believe that a magic software will get them free hats).
Spam can just be hidden by trade owner. And it can also be very entertaining to read, so there's no need to hide it from others.
As for me, since I'm not trying to rip people off, I always prefer to explain why my price is fair, why that spam makes no sence, etc., rather than reporting everyone.
My personal opinion is that people who report others for anything like like "lol, good luck selling it for that price" actually do realize that they are annoying, therefore they just dont know what to say.

I think perma-hiding posts by moderators should be disabled. If perma-hidden post contains some bullying or meaningless shit, then there's no reason for trade owner to want it to be hidden permanently. If there is, then it probably contains something that he doesn't want others to know. Probably involving unfair methods of ripping people off.

And why the pony I can't say "that's a stupid lowball" is someone will make a bad offer? Reporting people without an answer is worse than bullying, I will never descend to that.

The grey/blue/green dot lets us know that half of traders are offline while trades are still being bumped.
Autobumping trades of offline traders doesn't keep the site alive but just pollutes it. When I'm searching for something, I don't want to scroll through 10 pages of inactive trades. And nobody does, I suppose.
