Well for me this is a trust-trade just like when you have a trade including cash.
You should be able to advertise your services imo. It´s not my fault if someone is scammed when using a service like mine...just check his rep like you´d do it in cash trades and you see if you can trust them.

Even though your service doesn´t include scam potential I guess that the reasoning for my trade closure "providing a service" would apply to yours as well. And it also depends on who´s visiting your trade...I´d certainly not report either of our services if I stumbled upon them.

Your first reply gave the impression you could speak for a majority of outpost users which you cannot. And of course I can´t speak for a majority as well.

Still I can tell that, at least for my service, is a userbase that is interested. I can tell that not only because of the 20+ tours I´ve already completed for other people (my service was playing mann up mode for others, just in case you didn´t check my first post) but also because of a relatively high amount of bookmarks within a short amount of time. Of course that doesn´t mean all wanted to use it but it´s proves that there´s interest.

I see your opinion that some people could think of services like naming which probably annoy certain users but I doubt that they´d flood the main page with their service.

In addition I think outpost could set rules, stating which services are allowed. Or maybe implement a seperated part for services or whatever...I think they have tons of options how to deal with it and improve features.

Your service might be appreciated by some, but not the majority of OP users. Take your service offer somewhere else and don't misuse OP trades to advertise it because you can find a large user base here.

I´m sorry you consider my trade to be spam. However it´s very obvious that it also had a trade purpose so just think of the services as a little extra feature. Maybe you don´t feel so negative if you view it from this perspective :3

Ah yea, I understand that you could see a violation if outpost in its current state is "trades only".
What I wanted to know is how other users would think if they could update it. We´d still live in medieval times if we never consider changing things for something better.

If outpost would allow new features for example this kinda services or auctions or whatever, don´t ya think that they could attract even more people and accomplish more?

Brokering was actually not the kind of service I wanted to talk about because I see why this can cause problems.

Are there more arguments against offering a service like I did?

As I said it also stated that I´m buying tickets so it had a trade purpose.

From what you´ve said I can tell that you´re one that is against it but your only argument is that it would require too much effort and time to sort out who´s scamming, right?

It´s true that some services e.g. mine require trust-trades but that´s also the case everytime you´re having cash transactions in exchange for items. I don´t think it´s too hard to judge if the person you´re dealing with is a scammer when you consider certain factors which are obvious when you have common sense.

Also there are other kinds of services where it´s impossible for one to scam other people for example a F2P metal exchange. So what is wrong with offering these and also with mine if I can prove I´m not scamming anyone?

And why is it allowed on bazaar but not on outpost?
