Just to add a note, we currently have over 2,000 pending reports, and if I was to simply turn on an autoclicker on the close button, I'd say 95% of the reports would have been rightfully closed. Some of the reports we get are frightful, we should probably publish them in a failcomp.

In every trade you offer to buy any craft hat for 1.22. The items shown don't matter, you are offering 1.22 for any craft hat 9 times, and that makes it a relist.

Absolutely, and you got the extra trades. You can have one for scrap banking, one for selling the weapons, one for buying a few hats, another for selling the odd misc, some more for crates, another for a strange minigun etc etc.

If you seriously thought donating would let you have 25 scrapbanking trades, you're sorely mistaken. Also, by definition, a donation can not be returned. Try claiming €50 from a charity because you thought another one was doing a better job.

It's entirely possible to spam your own trade, you get no special reservations for owning the trade. And certainly, YT videos as responses are spam.

Incidentally, staff can't hide already hidden posts, so we couldn't have hidden that comment, even if we wanted to. But closing a trade because someone said something you didn't like, is frankly, a bit petty, to say the least.

What I believe you fail to see is that when you report someone, we, the staff, have to review it. Now, in an ideal world, we are all omnipresent, and can review reports instantly, unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. You are reporting for all the wrong reasons.

Remember, the reason the rules exist is not to restrain users, but to ensure the site works properly, and efficiently. Someone simply saying "I think this should be worth 2 ref", does not impede the functioning of the site at all.

Every time you report one of these perfectly innocent posts, odds are, we will ignore the report, and close it. Remember, the rule specifically states "(No) Derogatory statements made regarding the value of the trade or listed prices." A person's opinion does not damage the value of the trade. This rule specifically concerns comments like "Duped hat, 50% off nao", and I feel the reason in the report system interface is a bit ambiguous.

But remember, for every minor post you report, you are delaying the cessation of more important issues, for example, banning phishers (something I believe you were discussing in another thread), or banning scammers.

I'm pretty sure Sneeza would know fuzz matching, but simply blocking domains or creating a whitelist wouldn't work. Remember, the majority of the people who get hijacked are those who actually believe the link, and that it will give them free hats.

Even if we forced phishers to obscure their links, people would still go after them. I've brought up the mod hide problem with Sneeza already, incidentally.
