With the amount of tickets steam support get and the amount of items they have to restore you would think steam may add a further restriction for buying tradable gifts like they have on the market place.

Nothing can be done about it except reporting the obvious alt/throwaway accounts selling bulk copies of dayz/arma 3/watchdogs/darks souls 2 etc at a ridiculous price. If you look at the current trade I linked even though many people are commenting that the games will be revoked you always get silly people who either can not read or do not care. If users are knowingly buying games like this from trades like that and then reselling them there should be some kind of punishment for that also...... temp ban maybe. (I say this with caution because sometimes its not obvious what is fraudulent bought game and what is not) in the case of that trade i gave as an example you will notice multiple warning from people who know, then you will see a user like Delp comment "add me to discuss fast please!!", then you check his trades and guess what he is reslling DayZ copies he bought off the user http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/633936 despite all the warnings he bought them to resell.

Nothing can be done as there is other sites where the fraudsters can bulk sell these games, then those games get offered on outpost by people who may not be aware its a future revoked game.

These games can pass through many innocent peoples inventory before it finally gets revoked.

Steam need to fix the problem like they done with steam market restriction when they stopped the majority of the carded keys being bought and sold.

Fix such as if you add a new payment method extend the time that the gift takes to become tradable. Or even remove the option to buy games as a gift if you just added a new payment method for 2 weeks or something idk

Give him the hat back and stick to original deal, if it was you that made that mistake you would also want it back, its an easy mistake to make sometimes and has happened to me before on both sides of the example which got sorted straight afterwards.

One guy even pasted a $50 steam wallet code in a chat to me by mistake, would be kind of low to then go and redeem it.

If you end up with a ban or a tag, your not going to get that reversed anytime soon if at all. And thats just going to mess up your future trading plans big time Technically it was not your fault, but morally your no better than a scammer.

If I was you i would be giving it back rather than waiting to see what happens with your "I done nothing wrong" excuse.

If a trade was agreed and then he changed his mind and wanted to re trade back, then that's a different story.

Offer incentives for taking out premium for longer than 1 month please sneeza, keep $5 per month for example but offer a discounted 6 month and 12 month plan price, or offer other plans that give less trades/longer auto bump time

Will also agree that trade offers although buggy have been working more consistently than the trade window for me the last month or so, its come to the point I just wish people would use the trade offer system rather than add me

This is how it goes......... guy adds me and invites me to trade, we use trade window and get "error no items have been exchanged" they are hasty and want to try again and again, I ask them to send me a direct trade offer and they invite me to trade again (maybe some people are still unaware how to actually send one or becuase the trade offer is still buggy they try once and get error, when all they need to do is try sending it a few times....or I send them a trade offer and they get error code (28) and tell me its nto working, when all they have to do is try accepting a few times until they get success or error code (11))

Ugh, Im also subscribed to a few steam forums so my notification box is always green, so to see if I have trade offers I have to manually click the box. But I do prefer that system and if we had a pop up notification it would be perfect.

I agree that they need to make a trade offer notification pop up (same as incoming friend request)

Not complaining about the limit as not had a phisher all day (was getting 10 per day average)
