A trade is a trade! You must be responsible for your own acts - I would NEVER have refunded him according to the info you put up here.
Scamming is not to put up a high prize for an item - seller are free to state whatever price he/she wants. Then the buyer can choose or not, to buy.
Scamming is not to set a high price - Scamming is when the seller starts implying that the item is more worth than it actually is (as I sees it). To scam - the seller must have been active in some way aiming to get a price much higher then the item actually are worth.
As an example: I wanted to sell a hat and someone answered my tradeoffer in TF2outpost. Instead of paying metal he offered a Strange MarketGardener which had a lot of registred kills. The Seller valued it twice the price as was registred for example on backpack.tf - just bcs it had so many kills. When I informed him that kills are zeroed when item is traded - he said that he know that! And then he started arguing that I did not paid him enough respect bcs it was hard to get that much kills on a MarketGardener. (I have saved the whole chat - just for fun! and you can find it via a link on my steam profile)
That was an example of a scam - first implying that it was more worth and then starting to make small threats!
BUT if he had put up the MarketGardener for sale on a trade for the double price and I choose to buy it... MY MISSTAKE - not his!

Conclusion: Never refund if you really feel that there is no reason for that - let the other part be rude and whatever - let him report you and then let the "judge" decide.
IF you are certain that you have done nothing wrong - well dont back off - take the fight - We are all gamers - Or??!!!

What I really want to ask is which filter-words are available when I want to do a search or put up a new trade.
I have tested and Spy, Soldier, Heavy... and so on... works. Also found "Metal" as a usable word - BUT it would really help if you could make an available list containing all usable words.

(I have been looking around this forum for a list but did not find it - But I send my apology already now if it exists and I just can not find it)

Update: Saw a yestarday that the backpack was mirrored correct and not stacked! TNX SNEEZA - now it is perfect and the latest update of the site is fantastic!

I would like to add a new discussion about layout - not the new SEARCH layout.
Instead about the changes which are made to the window when you ADD a new trade - actually hitting the +sign.

When U add a new trade today - your backpack is NOT displayed as U have choosen to sort it. All empty slots are taken away and all items is packed together in a non-ending row. Exactly as the inventory is shown in Steam-profile.

There are reasons why I sort my gears in my TF2 backpack - I gather them together in groups which I shall sale and keep, I sort them to be sure I follow the rules at tf2outpost:
For example - IF U display the same item in two trades at the same time - U will be banned for a day (Been there - done that)
Now with the 'packed' version of my BP there is a great risk for unintended missbehave.

I started by fileing this as a BUG under another section here at forum - but realised it is a feature! Maybe it is something that shall help use from mobile devises - But I do not see how it makes it easier. (the new devided scrollwindow at SEARCH and ADD - I believe is introduced for that reason)

Conclusion: I dislike the packing of my BP - I want it to be shown exactly as I sorted it - with empty slots! At least there should be a setting wheer I choose to display my BP in 'packed' or 'real' version.

Now - May I hear your opinion!
