This is what the block function is for, you can block the users posting these quickbuy threads so their trades won't show up in your searches.

If he knew he traded with a marked scammer then that will lead to a ban. Make sure that he is extra careful about who he trades with and if a deal is too good to b e true, then it probably is.

No ban appeals on the forums. You should have checked the users SR profile before trading with them. Nothing you say here will make your ban sentence shorter, wait it out and try not to trade with anyone who is giving you a suspiciously cheap deal.

As for your second suggestion, Editing trade notes from any page has already been suggested and rejected by the staff.

The left side is what you are selling, and the right side is for buying. You can put tf2offers on the right side but it can be whatever you want. The trade doesn't have to be exact on what you want, just make sure your trade description says what you want for the items clearly.


To see the history of an item, just click on the item, this will give you a full list of past owners of that item.
