I know you can ask whatever you want in your trades, but this seems like a cancerous plauge that really could be done away with.

Selling unusuals is already difficult, as you can never find people who are genuinely interested in your offers due to every pure-for-unusuals trade be "hurr durr 80% backpack.tf no cancer hatz im doing you a favor with cash now"

Well if everyone's doing it, then that's not much of a service now is it? It seems like this has become a socially acceptable form of auto-lowballing, that people can leave up there for as long as they like with no maintainence, clogging item searches.

Many trading servers have rules against quicksell buying such as TF2-T, which is why alot of people go there instead of outpost/other sites.

Isn't "unrealistic buyouts" something that trades have been closed for? If so, then about 2/3rds o these trades should be closed by now.

You do realize that that does absolutely nothing to deter scammers, as they can simply google outpost search results for whatever they want, and go from there? Say i wanted to scam a modest pile of hat, to find people selling them, i got this off google. http://www.tf2outpost.com/search/67450170. Circumvented. Besides, all this does is slow down legitimate players who could be using the site without being logged in yet still, increasing it's web traffic, and seeing ads.

Surely the bright minds behind outpost must realize that a vast majority of players used it to find listings quickly and easily, without having to jump through hoops and sign in through steam, and then have a public inventory so you dont get autobanned when you do, etc.

And now you cant. That makes no sense. It's really a pain in the ass to sign in on public, and other people's computers, just so you can search for what's listed, even the link to the search feature tells you to log in... this is mind blowingly stupid.

Well, "out of date prices" might stir up trouble, as unless it's blatantly obvious, it could be subject to opinion

Try searching for a kringle collection, for example. There are alot of trades like this one, http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/4950335, which, although are active enough to avoid the auto-closing, are still massively out of date, and contiune to sit there due to people asking "wtf with the price man" in posts at the bottom.

Obviously nobody is going to buy/sell items for a outdated price now, and if the trader hasn't bothered to update or close it, i see no reason that people should have to sift through these now-pointless trades to find one that reflects current prices.

There should at least be an option to filter out quickbuying trades.
