Its entirely arbitrary.

Levels are gambling, craft numbers are worse because people ask far more for craft numbers when most won't sell at all above normal price. Paint depends entirely on demand of the base item and how good it looks. The math formulas on tf are just a bit of nonsense on all these issues. Its like anything else, you get what you can get.

I've been offered enough craft number items to see they are mostly a scam, you see people just say their craft hat is craft number 50 or whatever, so its worth 6 keys! then they ask to buy something from you...its just very scammy. I'm sure a few craft numbers get sold for keys but the rest, are just used to try to con someone into giving them key items for a craft hat.

Paint as long as the price is less than doing it yourself is reasonable. but if you need to sell quick or the item is kinda lousy/color kinda lousy, you might have to eat the cost.

Its like putting a long distance kills or robots destroyed part on some weapons, you may have cared, but most people won't, so you may not be able to charge for it.

That's not a scam, you screwed up, theres a huge difference.

That's just trade regret, you don't get to report that as a "scam". Suck it up as a lesson.

Yea the main issue is that people who love linux..really love linux, had it installed already;) So by default such people already have one. If they don't, paying goes against the entire ethos of linux, linux people are cheeeeeeeeeeeeaaaap!!

No one had to downgrade, all you had to do was run virtualbox, dual boot, or even run some hack program. Logging in all your idles on that just took a few minutes a piece...and anyone running idles in high numbers has the technical know how to do that easily...so the supply is huge, demand is non existent. I speak against my own self interest because i have a few but theres no point being dishonest about prices in a market.

As can be seen by the 2012 Christmas item bubble, and the Salvaged Crate #40 bubble. Belief will most likely fail to cause a long term increase in an item, and in some cases may end up crashing them. Besides, nobody believes these ass penguins will achieve bud level, not even the owners, they're crossing their fingers hoping someone will make the mistake.

Well I said nothing even remotely like that, so no. If anybody wanted a tux badly enough to pay $35 for it, they would have downloaded the free OS and gotten one for free.
