Good evening! I am here to appeal my ban that occurred over a year ago, around the date of January 10, 2013. Over the year, I really have not played TF2 as much as I used to, mostly because the trade game gets old when you have the over sized "SCAMMER" tag, written twice on some servers. Recently with the new updates coming out, I have gotten back into TF2 and even bought myself my first Bill's! My first appeal reason I will talk about is my change of heart, or reason of playing TF2. Back in 2013 I wrote the post thinking that people would be giving their items to me left and right. I have realized that the TF2 community isn't run like that. After these dark times with my reputation in the deepest darkest holes of the fire pits of doom, I realize that to be a successful member of the TF2 community you need to be true to yourself and others. As I said before, I recently purchased my first Bill's. The person I bought it from was a great member of the community, even though he charged me about a key over because I didn't have pure, but that's a story for another date. Now that I have this rare hat, I wish to grow and expand my trading experience. The other reason I am appealing is because the severity of the ban is worse than the Steamrep policy recommends. I will include a picture and a link of the policy stating "SteamRep and/or other communities decided to ban you for scamming or fraud" (http://forums.steamrep.com/pages/faq/)
The quote clearly states "for scamming or fraud." On my actual Steamrep page it says "Attempted scam." Obviously, this does not match the policy for "scamming or fraud"


So that wraps up my appeal! I appreciate any of the admins/moderators reading through the entire thing and sorry if I used the wrong format, I went with the Steamrep one since it was the only thing I could find. Also, here is that picture of the quote,
