The posts about Halloween are all from back in October. Besides, Valve doesn't care how they screw with the economy. It's their game. :P
Also, hoping crate 40 would become worth buds is a serious oversight.
They won't be worth that for at least a year after they stop dropping. Probably longer seeing as there are so many.

I meant it in a "Glad they won't be making a shit ton of them" way. I can understand 1 for each map, and I'll gladly buy a few to support the map makers, but I don't want them to be like Strange Parts in the sense that they'll even make totally ridiculous ones just to keep it going.

I'm kind of jumping in the "Milestone" crate boat now. I have a feeling it'll be a little more special than a salvaged crate considering that it's #50.
