Anyone? If it's not against the rules, I'd like to make multiple trades that all have different weapons in them.

I want to make sure I'm following the rules, but also want to trade my stuff, so when it comes to selling random normal weapons, how should a trade be done? Say I have 40 items I want to trade. Can I make five trades with eight items each as long as I don't duplicate anything? Or, can I only make one trade and just list a few items and then point people to my inventory? I notice doing it that way that I'm only getting a few hits and I think it's because when people search for weapons they want (like I do) they're not seeing mine. Thanks for any info you can provide.

If you're trying to sell a lot of weapons, there is no way to do it within the guildelines other than hope that someone will actually go inside your backpack and look around for what it is they're searching for. If I have 40 random weapons to sell, I still don't understand why 5 trades with those 40 items spread out is a problem.

On another note, why is it that people get banned for this and yet there are a huge amount of posts with people having a picture of 1 key, 1 ref and then the inside of their post listing 1.5 keys as the price? Clearly false advertising and a waste of time, and against the rules and yet it happens constantly. There isn't enough time in the day to report all of them.

So, how do they want you to list your weapons? I see people do it the way I do it all the time. I mean, my trades have the specific weapons that I'm trading. I don't see how you would do that differently unless you did you a trade that just had a scrap and a little black weapon icon and then described it as "trading all duplicate weapons in my backback for a scrap each." That's not how other people do it though.

I guess I just wish someone would have said something instead of just automatically banning me. I have 700 trades under my name. I'm more than willing to fix something if someone tells me how I'm supposed to be doing it.

Thanks for the info. I'm just in the middle of trying to find a bunch of items for my loadouts. I specifically create trades by going one by one in my backpack, so there might be one trade that included a couple items that I had three of, but that should be it. Certainly nothing excessive.

I was banned for "excessive relisting". I have less than my alloted 10 trades open and all of them are for different groups of weapons. I bump my trades as it is allowed. I haven't done anything worthy of being banned.

If I had done something, I would have thought a warning or a "please change that" would have been nice. No warning or anything.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I can live with someone having multiple items and the wishlist not being correct, but when they have one item and clearly have enough room to put in the right amount, that it bothers me.

Not sure if I have enough time to do that, but I'll try. It literally happens all the time. :)

I would like to make a suggestion to the community as a whole, since this happens a lot. If you're selling something for 2 keys, please create your trade as such. When your trade shows 1 key and 2 ref, it makes people think you're selling it for 1 key and 2 ref. It's a waste of time to go inside trades to find out that the shown trade is not really what's being asked for. Thanks

I just asked one person and he specifically said that it's the only way to draw attention. I don't know if I'm the only one, but if I see something like that, whether it's the real world or tf2outpost, I'm not buying your product.
