Kinda same thing happened with me ... But my acc was just hijacked .. no scam was done from it .. My steam account got unlocked 1.5 months back and i made an appeal on outpost regarding unbanning me .. But there is not even a single reply on my appeal .. Been waiting from almost 2 months .. Whenever i post here , some mod post the same link as above..

I know the admins r busy with lot of appeals to go through , But its 3months + and there is no update on my ban appeal on tf2op .. I was just banned coz my steam account was locked as it was hijacked and i m unlocked now via steam ..

Really looking for an update regarding this ban appeal ..

I was banned 4 weeks ago on tf2op .
Reason = You have received a community ban by Valve. As long as it is in place, you will remain banned from OP.

I m unbanned on steam now , My acc was compromised , and they enabled it back .
