Hey guys I am having a problem running some games. It's really baffling me cause I can run games like Skyrim and Brink but Lord of the Rings: War in the North and Alan Wake give me issues. Whats happening is that in LotR and Alan Wake most movements and attacks cause the game and sound to start chopping for a few seconds. I put the settings all on low and it made it worse. It actually crashed my laptop.

Anyone have any ideas?

Try restart, try reinstall, try running the game and nothing else aso aso.. lots of stuff to try.
Try lower the quality on the effects only :P
I don't know about those games, but it might have something to do with how well the games handle threading. Depending on how many processors you got in your computer this might just be the case.
