Over 60 hours of TL1 Gameplay total(mostly off steam) never beaten it
I think I played over 60 hours of TL1(not on steam), yet I've never beaten it. Why? Because at the very near end of the game I start to get bored and either start a new class, start a new char with a different build etc etc so I generally just start over.

this is mainly due to me missing the major tilesets(such as the ruins, and even the first level mines). And also me hating the caves tileset. Having played the TL2 beta, since now the game is an open world(and not go down down down).

During my current playthrough I've installed a HUGE mod pack, which I HIGHLY recommend as it adds LOADS of features. Do not install it with any other mod, and start a new Char with it.

It may make the game a bit easier, due to increased merchants, spells, fish, potions, etc. but its sure as hell funner xD Hopefully I'll actually beat the game this time.

I enjoyed it and beat it off steam twice and now on steam (for achievments)im approaching the end again.. i thought it was somewhat easy and short to be honest but everyone has thier own reaction to it. The graphics are a style i like alot and you can port to town anytime so its really easy to get potions etc heck you can even send your pet to offload crap lol its one of the easiest games i've played even on hard. You can keep enchanting gear out the wazoo and make it crazy powerful.. not sure what your reffering to in that respect. The only time i
would mod it imo is after a very complete run through of the original game.
