Outlander builds
I made an outlander as my alt and was just wondering what are you guys thoughts on Outlander's viable builds or powerful skill combos.

Using Poison Burst with Tangling Shot works really well for me, dealing massive AoE damage (especially with some extra points in Master of the Elements) with the added perk of having everyone stuck in place, which is always a boon for a ranged class.

I am curious about the shadowling approach though. I notice there's a lot of synergy between these pseudo-summoning skills but I wonder if the shadowlings really work well in the late game. Are the summons effective at keeping the mobs at a distance? Do they serve as a meat wall? Can they actually kill stuff in the late game (I mean level 90-100)?

I found shadowlings to be rather weak, personally. except for the brute-he's great, and I highly suggest in investing points in him.

maybe if you level them up enough they'll be solid, I don't know. also worth mentioning though, that when I played(outlander being my first character), there seemed to be bugs with shadowlings(not spawning as they should, not lasting for as long as they should etc.).

maybe they fixed it today.

Pretty much the build I've been rocking and straight facerolling the game. I've made some modifications myself but generally it is an amazing build. If you click on the pages tab there it shows some other Outlander builds and I am very interested in doing the shadowsummons and maybe tweaking it a bit.

But that main one is pretty good so far. I started to do it pretty much on my own but then I found this and it guided me a bit in a direction I prefered.

Poison Burst is really good. I don't see the point of Bramble Wall though, it's too mushy. My buildis actually pretty close to this though, I'm gonna try out some of the actives they suggest. Thanks!
