A new and improved Black Mesa Nightmare! I've decided to do the usual and take one of my older (more noobish) maps and upgrade it to my current level of skill. Its become a hobby for me ;p.

This new Nightmare will (hopefully) feature:

- Improved puzzles
* Most of the puzzles will no longer depend on your skill in jumping, or timing. They will instead directly force you to utilize teammates.

- Brand new puzzles
* Of course with a remake, new stuff should always be added. New puzzles will be included

- More focus on storyline
* There will be less usage of Camera elements to show events and cutscenes to the player. The maps will instead let you "play out" the cutscenes and flashbacks.

- Fully revamped maps
* More structural architecture, better texture usage, eye candy.

- Storyline forks
* These allow players to take separate paths through the storyline while still sticking to the base plot

- A creepy atmosphere!
* Yes, Nightmare was originally intended to be scary, but I strayed away from that pretty far..

- Easter eggs
* Along with the Volcom Stones, there might just be some extra easter eggs, and maybe alternate endings.

Expected/Estimated release date: CHRISTMAS 2008

Bayvanti is nearing completion now... with just one Control Point area left to make, it should be on the clan server in the next week or two. And released on FPSBanana after weeks (or possibly months) of rigorous playtesting. You can always check progress of the map on the [BAY] Clan website, www.bay-clan.org

I am happy to announce that Black Mesa Nightmare 2 is back under construction and is well on the way!! It may take me awhile to finish but I swear that it'll be the best map ever ^_^
