Better then Fall Guys!
Marooners is a ton of fun in a bite size package.
It's like they took Gilligan's Island, added Lego's character's to it and then they all had to battle to the death.
Except there's no blood and every time you hit a character they sound like a rubber ducky, it's hilarious!
You can choose between local multiplayer, online multiplayer, or play against the computer with quite intelligent Bots.
There's a Arena game mode where you battle and then there's party mode where you run around and try to survive.
It's so reminiscent of Mario Kart, because you can get these power-ups and you can throw these bombs, again hilarious!
Definitely hope that they can expand more with DLCs and get more online players!
I also really like the linear mode which lets you finish a mini game before going on to the next mini game.

While Absolver's new DLC is probably the best part of the game, it's not enough to save the problems with it. Such as servers not working, meaning you can't connect to a school. Lag, mismatches in online player versus player, so you in up fighting someone who's two to three times stronger than you. Also because of the low online player base, getting a 3 vs 3 is next to impossible, yes you can forget the co-op that you were looking forward to. A fighting system that really isn't functional for long-term game-play because it takes forever to learn and is next to impossible to master, except for those who are already experts. So in short: "not new player friendly, therefore not fun for long-term game-play". Character customization's and elaborate costumes is about the only other thing that I really like about this game. It looks cool! But hours in and you get nowhere, there's really no point.

Club lightning: There are some problems with this game, first of all that it's marketed as a game at all, instead of a media player is beyond me. Why do I get a dancing girl that changes her mind every 5 Seconds about what music she likes? she will say slow songs are too fast for her and apparently she doesn't like Japanese music! I do like the graphics, the club lighting and being able to add your own music. But this could be improved as well by simply have microphone permissions and allowing her to listen to whatever you're listening to, this way the player could set up a playlist right through a radio or streaming service and she could react to that. She should like whatever music you're playing. But if she loves it then you can unlock outfits for her to wear, and items for the club to look cool. Needs more. 3 out of 10

My kind of party!
Fun game, relaxing, helps you focus and clear your mind. Love the different levels of difficulty.

Gauntlet Slayer Edition is way too difficult to play alone, although it states single player and multiplayer, it is not functional as a single player game. Levels are too hard, boss levels are too easy, it's not even possible to finish the game without very skilled players to help. Co-op for this game is laughable. Not fun. I already spent too many hours trying to beat this. Not to mention there is no leveling up at all, and you'll need a truckload of "Gold" if you want to get a better chance at this.
Soooooooo in short Too difficult, too much grinding for gold, not enough fun.

So I bought this game because I really wanted to get my own perspective on how it is compared to the first game, and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I loved being able to go into a parts of this game and tag stuff!
Chloe and Rachel's relationship is complex it's hard to describe, even the characters themselves don't fully understand what's going on,
it's captivating. It's brilliantly done, and puts the first game to shame in my opinion.
I think it's a great game, and a great buy.
If you have controler issues like I did, see this link on steam

Other things I really liked about the game include: Outfits for Chloe, (Love this! want more.)
Mix-tape mode is very hella cool!
That Dungeons & Dragons kind of mini game that you get to play is very fun. (I want to see more of that.)
it would be great to have more episodes/DLCs of this where you just kind of do everyday things with the characters or something. 10 /10

Literally one of the best games I have played here. It takes you on a time trip back to the arcade days. The controls are great, graphics are gorgeous while keeping the classic Atari look. The music makes you feel like you are in an gaming cafe or arcade, and the sound is awesome! It has a high replay value as there are several game modes, difficulties and challenges. This is a game where you will go back to play it often, with friends and family or by yourself. Works well even on older laptops. Very fun, very addictive. We need more games like this!

Ahoy! I like this game, it's fun, it takes some strategy but it's not overwhelming or overdone like so many other games. It can get repetitive on some things, but not boring. There is a lot to do in this game, like; taking over a town, or building your own, buy, sell, or downright take Yo Ho "it's a pirate's life for me"
