Personally not for me, but if you like an arcade style Tennis game with music, this game might be for you

On a scale of "It's the biggest piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" to "It was perfect", I give it a "I mean it's alright like..."

I wanted so bad to like this game because I loved Last Year, but it's honestly not that worth it.

The concept of the game is interesting, a lord of the flies CTF style game, but it didn't feel like that, it felt like an unpolished deathmatch game with the classmates and weapons from Last Year (minus Raj which I was disappointed about considering he was my main). The maps look good, but the gameplay just isn't all that interesting in my opinion. I'm not gonna go into the balance of the game because I have less than an hour and don't want to comment on something I don't have a lot of knowledge on, but from my experience, the shotgun is already the meta from how it can insta kill someone WITH A HELMET ON at point blank range. All the other weapons I'm indifferent about. Some feel good, some don't.

The biggest flaw this game has is that it made me want to play Last Year so badly again.

Edit: I originally said it was smart that they reused the Last Year assets to cut back costs, but I was corrected when I was told they bought the assets back from the Bank of Canada. I understand the possible emotional connection the devs have with these characters, but I feel like it would have been smarter and cheaper to use new assets and models, possibly even free ones.

I'd consider playing this again if it was polished a bit more, had a progression system, and some fine tuning to some of the weapons, but in its current state, I can't recommend it.

I'm a little mixed on this game. The mechanics are janky and not intuitive at first, but the game has lots of stuff for you to play around with. Being able to rocket jump for the first time in VR in the meat fortress map is amazing, and the guns (for the most part) are fun to use. That being said, this game focuses more on making the guns realistic and sacrifices some gameplay as a result. This has the least forgiving reloading out of any VR game. I still recommend this game if you are looking for a fun gun simulator with a bunch of choices, but if you're looking for a more polished action packed title, I'd get something else.

When I got this back in December, I would say it lacked the content necessary for it to be a flushed out L4D style VR game. Now that this game has had time to have content released, it's worth the money. The missions are fun, there's incentives for doing them on higher difficulties in the form of upgrading your guns, the horde mode is super fun. The only thing I dislike about this game is the PVP mode. It's pretty unbalanced and unfun in my opinion. Other than that, if you want a good zombie shooter, this game excels at that.

The only benefit this has is that it's the only 4v1 asym in VR. Other than that, it's horribly balanced, clunkier than DBD when a new update drops, and is not worth the $15 it asks for. Every map is either too bright or too dark, the survivor objectives are laughably easy, and every killer is the same. I'd pay maybe $5 max for this. Maybe with friends it would be better, but A. I don't have friends with VR headsets, and B. NO ONE WAS PLAYING, so I had to resort to using the bots.

This is genuinely one of the greatest VR games ever made.

The dev team put so much love and care into this game, and despite it taking a long time to get to full launch, it's here, and it is so insanely fun to play.
