Selaco is essentially if you took a list of every gripe you had with your childhood shooters- personally for me, FEAR, Halo, Doom Duke 3D, Unreal, and they tried to make them all work.
So much in this package screams polish and quality. Gunfights are fantastic, and being able to see the damage you create persist is a feature underappreciated in games. AI flanks, pushes, sees you pull out a shotgun, and craps its pants when it tries to get some distance back before you pull the trigger. Slightly light on story, but a lot told through datapads is fine by me. This is a labour of love that shouldn't go unnoticed.

Contagion does a very good job of approximating the zombie apocalypse in a more realistic fashion than Left 4 Dead can. Though the enemy variety is not stellar, the tension is what keeps you going in this coop zombie shooter. Remember that this is still in beta, so the maps as well as the experience will continue to grow over time!
